AL37 Delta Build

Almost done with this beautiful airliner just going to share my build thanks for looking!

Motor mod, Spray can cap was a perfect 60mm so no thrust will be lost. Just had to trim the foam ring a little, used my dremel sanding drum.

Tail logo lights custom installed using the L-39 light kit along with the P-38 clear lenses. This will plug into the last 2 open ports in the blue box for lights.

Had to hand paint the underbelly. this plane does not like tape being used on it like most foamies.

windscreen, painted around the windows with some grey black then added chrome tape, used dull coat to get rid of the shine.

Almost done just waiting for some lighter blue Delta decals from Callie.

With the wings/ elevators - when you painted them gray, did you remove any of the control surfaces? Or did you just leave everything on the wings like flaps, ailerons, and paint over them?

Beautiful job. I work for Delta and am going to start the same project soon. Did you use Rustoleum 2x Deep Blue gloss and metallic aluminum paint? Is the darker grey on the wings and stabs decal or paint? Thank you.
