    Nose wheel strut

Howdy. How do you get the nose gear strut loose on Eflite Viper? The screw is really tight?

Sometimes need to use an soldering iron to heat the screw and release the thread locker.

So the screw is glued to the collar?

Ahh, think the epoxy would be the better choice.

Worse choice, you want to hold the screw not make it unremovable

Best choice is a little FoamTac on the threads. Epoxy is a NO-NO for these types of screws (or any type of screw).

Think you misunderstod i’m not touching the strut screw
but gluing on the wire strut. But your right about not using epoxy on screws:)

Yup, me too. He posts one thing but he's thinking something else. All we've talked about here is that screw that he can't get out. Then, all of a sudden, with no warning, he talks about gluing in the strut wire. Times like these, it can become very painful to try to help.
