The decals on this bird seem to be waterslide....has anyone had any issues removing them? See I'm former Navy and was in an A-6 squadron and plan on installing different decals from Callie Graphics but don't know if removing them or painting the whole plane over....

I agree with Evan D, paint over them, here's what mine looks like sporting my squadrons livery
To both of ya, thanx for serving with the "Iron Tadpoles"
I was just getting out when you started your 20 year career Evan, served 72-77.

I've used house paint samples from Lowes/ Home Depot (very easy), or rattle can everything from cheap stuff at Wally world, rustoleum or testors. All work good. The house paint being latex is the easiest to spray and clean up.Comment

Really up to you. My last paint job was the latex house paint with a small spray gun I’ve had for years and never used. I already had a compressor too. I hung plastic in my garage, cheap to get the
. This had less overspray than rattle can for me. And latex is easy to work with. I have done rattle can in the past but think I’ll do more latex. My friend brushes latex on a lot of his repainted planes and they look great too.
OV-10 is latex, Mig is Rustoleum, F-4 is Modelmaster.
