Freewing 9 Blade 90mm edf ??

Powered up w/ YEP 120A esc but spool up is very slow. After a few seconds it reaches apparent full power but throttle response is so slow as to be unflyable.
My only guess is that timing is off, possible high. Any thoughts out there appreciated.

Check to see what the "start up" speed is. On most ESCs, you can have a "soft" start, "medium" or "hard" start. You want a HARD start for an EDF. You may have inadvertently programmed in SOFT start, which is more for helis or planes with really large props.

right on, took awhile to decode the prog card but it was in soft start.
