    Uneven duct shape and question of laminar flow

    Greetings! My model requires an angled round edf outflow duct (at the very end....say 75°). I'm concerned that the flow will expand upward at the shortest end of the duct and farther on until the duct ends. If the flow escapes the duct in this way it will pitch the tail down...to perhaps an extent that can't be controlled be the elevovons.
    There is also the question about laminar flow (or the lack there of?) I'm new to edf and don't see any indication of curved or angled stators behind the fan to mitigate the swirling of the air through the duct...is this an accurate description of airflow behind the fan?
    Can anyone addressmy concern about the above mentioned angled outflow duct? Thnx. SS1

    I don't understand what you mean by "flow escapes the duct".

    Take a good look at any EDF case and you'll see angled stators behind the fan to reduce swirl in the exhaust.

      If the nozzle is angled for scale reasons, you could roll a piece of transparent Mylar to extend the duct to the end of the nozzle.
