    New project

Well I got a "new to me" top flite cessna 310. I'm planning to go electric (running .60 sized motors on 6s), and it came with the pneumatic retract kit. I'm just worried about battery placement and making a hatch for said batteries. I'm thinking of going in the nacelles in the fuel tank compartments. I've always wanted one of these. And found one in the box. Very pleased.

Will do. It's definitely gonna be a fun one. The power system is all from motion. Gonna give the Admiral motors a try

Slowly, but surely, my biggest concern is making hatches for the battery access. I hate making hatches lol

What a great project! One of my favorite general aviation planes. The full sized ones were a hoot to fly, too. Best of luck with your build. Hope to see pics soon when you get it up in the air!👍

I have the servos in the fuselage all buttoned up. Waiting for parts to complete the air plumbing

One wing is near ready, next step is cutting the hatch, and wiring up the motor and esc, this was the test fit for the cowl and motor.

Looks really good. Can't wait to hear how it does on the maiden! Keep up the good work.

Tomorrow is the day, have it loaded, and all the controls set to go.

Wish the wind was more favorable for a maiden. Try again next week

I'm happy but also little bummed, the plane flew flawless, but the video didn't turn out. It started then looked like it stuck in frame. So I'm bringing my hat cam next week.
