  • Ultra scale, twin 80 EDF F/A-18 E request

I have noticed in the other blogs that Hobby Squawk members are asking for MRC to provide the next big bang for the buck. I am a HUGE F/A-18 fan (no pun intended). I would really like to see a large scale, very detailed F/A-18. I know there is a large F/A-18 out there but it's NOT scale. the F/A-18 does NOT have thrust vectoring. It would be great to see this model have the dive brakes, leading edge slats, and the great sound of twin 12 blade EDF's. It would be great if it had the nav lights, sequenced landing lights, and identity lights of the real bird.
Every time I take out my little 64mm H/P Royal Maces F/A-18 I get many positive comments. I also get questions regarding a larger version. I'm sure there would be a market for this plain. Just like there is for the F-15, F-14, and the T-45. Let's add one more to the collection, PLEASE.
Now, any one reading this please add your opinion, support, or comment to this thread. Maybe we can sway the MRC powers to be to consider this as another project.

I second the ultra scale Super Hornet request. The current Freewing 90mm offering is not scale at all, but the little 64mm guys are fantastic. Just need to scale that up a bit bigger. I'd like to see the F/ two seat model option as well, like the old 90mm Exceed Super Hornet.

You certainly have my vote. The F-18 is one of my favorite jets of all-time. The FW 90mm F-18 is my favorite jet to fly to-date.

Yes, that would be great, I guy I went to school with ended up being a flight instructor for the FA18 Super Hornet in the CAF, how cool a job is that??
Don't know what rank he ended up, but the top rank in the CAF (Canadian Armed Forces) apparently is AdmiralGeneralWingCommander as one of the local DJ's used to say.
