My Mig 15 doesn't fly well (under-powered) with the recommended battery. Has anyone used a 2200 MaH battery in it?

That would just make it heavier wouldn't it?

      Are you using 3s or 4s ?
what condition and mah is the battery you used that had poor performance?

        Isn’t it a 3s plane with a 3s ESC?

A bigger (mah) battery isn’t going to make it any more powerful. As Evan said, it’ll just make it heavier. As Steven asked, the condition (and age) and C rating of your battery may be very important. Also, did you calibrate the throttle? That old video on the product page appears as though the plane flies quite well. And yes, it’s a 3S plane.

I'm using the recommended Admiral 1600 MaH 3S, 11.1V, 30C brand new batteries.

Please calibrate the throttle. If you still are lacking you may have a battery that can't supply the power. I am not a fan of Admiral batteries because of this, and their price.

Evan, I'll calibrate the throttle. Thanks for the help.
