Freewing Mirage 2000C V2

I just purchased this model and immediately went to put it together. It looks beautiful but I have an issue out of the gate. The ESC is not beeping when I connect the battery and the motor does not work.
All else is working fine, including gear and flight controls. Any ideas?

Is the motor connected? The beeps come from the motor not the ESC.

I just purchased it, a brand new PNP kit and put it together. I would assume a PNP comes with the motor connected as in all other models I have. I need to take the fan apart to see if they missed a connection in the factory I guess.
