Northrop/McDonnell Douglas YF-23 Advanced Tactical Fighter Twin 80mm

Although potentially stealthier than the F-22 Raptor according to some observers, and better with thrust-to-weight ratio calculations, the YF-23 prototypes now sit in a museum. This is an iconic and amazing looking aircraft, let alone fast! I think the Freewing team would be able to put together a great model that would sell well using existing twin 80mm power system or a single 90mm power system. I'm a flight test engineer and a RC enthusiast, happy to help with the development. Any thoughts or comments here?

    Fully agree with you Ghostman!

The only comment I would have if they ever develop one in this size is "Shut up and take my money!" 😁

I'd only consider it if they could not screw up the center of the body. I don't see a way to do that with a single EDF.

You are probably right Evan, may not have a choice than to make it twin 80mm like the Mig29. I agree with Bartje as well!!
