Gyro setup question

Hello everyone,

I dont know if this is the right topic, but im looking for a answer on a question i have.
i have a spektrum NX8 and i was wondering how you setup the Gyro to throttle mix.
i saw on youtube some videos of people having the gyro almost off at full speed and automaticly higher Gyro rates when slowing down.
Does anyone have a link or easy setup gide?

So from what i understand so far, sorry had to do some work in bitween. You set the gyro gains to a open AUX chanel (2 or 3 position). The mix throttle to AUX channel and then select LINE mix? Throttle will automaticly take over the gains. And you can undo the mix as soon as you switch to another gyro gain position?

There;s no "correct" way to do it, it all depends on what you want to achieve. What you describe will certainly work. Depending on your exact setup you probably want the mix rate to be negative so the gain decreases as throtte increases. You may wish to set an offset too, so the reduction doesn't kick in until maybe 1/2 throttle.

Well i want to have a full functioning gyro during landing and slow, but now when im full throttle it starts wabeling. So now i almost disabled the gyro just to keep a steady speed run.

OK. So do what you suggested - mix throttle into the gain channel with a negative rate, so as you increase the throttle the gyro gain decreases.

This is very basic stuff. if you don't know how to use the features of your transmitter maybe you should spend some time familiarizing yourself.

I know how normal mixing works, never herd of mixing in gains with throttle with a line mjx. So looking at the the second part of your answer, How is that helping any one who has a question. You learn by asking, but thats just my opinion.

If a stand alone gyro separate from the receiver plug a lead from the gyro to an unuse port on your receiver. Go into the channel assign menu and have the throttle on that channel (may be the second screen in channel assign). Make sure the fist screen does not show that channel as inhibited. Try it out, you may have to go to that channel under servo adjust and reverse or change travel to get it to work and the sensitivity you like.

If you are using a receiver with a built in gyro it may be different especially if it's AS3X or forward programming.

It's "Linear" (as opposed to "curve")mix, not "line".

You mix throttle with anything the same way you mix anything else.

And learning how to use the features of your transmitter is always going to help. Why would you think otherise?

Im not saying it isnt going to help, but it isnt an anwer to a question. Offcourse you learn, read and so on before and after you bought a product.
