First thing: What sounds are you getting from the ESCs?
There is a specific series of sounds an ESC makes during initialization each time you connect the batteries.
If the throttle is at high when you connect it will make a serise of sounds, pause then give the sequence indicating it is asking if you want to program it. This programming tone set will repeat every few seconds (very short pause)
If throttle is low it will go through a sequence that for most ESCs includes a set of beeps that = cell count. It will intermittently (5 seconds between beeps) beep ONCE indication ready for next arming step (for hours if you do nothing)
Fail to arm is often fail to provide a low enough 0 throttle value. Its always best to start out with stick at ZERO. And check that any trim is zero (digital) or all the way down (analog or slider style trim)
Some ESCs will "want" some radios set for maximum EPA/ATV servo travel range.
After you have a low enough zero... some go through a throttle range check and want you to cycle through full and back to zero. They'll beep once at full, again at zero and then you will be able to spin the prop with the motor.
Some transmitters will have a safety system requiring you to cycle a switch through the disarm position back to arm (or just turn on with that switch in the disarm position) before the throttle stick will do anything. I know Dynam does this. Not sure about what radio you are using.

Disconnect one ESC completely. Make the other motor work.
Then just plugging in the other ESC it should work.
Note that all the messing around means you will probably now need to program the ESCs back to default... Its almost certain you've been into the programming modes and are at random settings by now.
Easiest reprogramming of course is to use the correct programming card (which MotionRC should have) I strongly recommend having programming cards approriate for any ESCs you have.

I'm not sure what the Freewing ESCs require.... so I tried to cover almost all of themFF gliders and rubber power since 1966, CL 1970-1990, RC since 1975.
current planes from 1/2 oz to 22 lbs
