Freewing lippisch esc problem

I just got the Lippisch. I’m running an nx 8 and have used a spektrum receiver and a lemon. I can’t get throttle to do anything. When I bind and startup I get a ton of various beeps from the esc/motor and the stop when I advance the throttle. I can’t get it into a program or to run the motor. I hooked the esc to a servo tester and the motor/esc seems to work fine. Is there a Spektrum quirk I am not aware of?

Set the throttle to -125 when on low.

Throttle stick up, connect battery wait until you get 2 beeps. Sometimes in a instant sometimes later along the beeping line. Slow beeps, not continues beeps. As soon as the 2 beeps come. Throttle down and your good. If this is not helping make a short youtube video if it
