    F-14

I’m a newbie looking for information about an RC F-14. Does the kit here (https://www.motionrc.com/products/fr...plus-fj30811ap) come mostly assembled? Are there other options by other brands that may be further assembled and even better, less expensive? Finally, which is the common size for this jet? Much appreciated -

    1. This is not an appropriate choice for a newbie.

    2. You can download the manual from the site whose link you listed, which answers your assembly questions. It also tells you the exact size of this model.

    3. if you read through the existing threads about the F-14 on this forum you will find a lot of information that's already been posted that answers your questions (and some you haven't thought of yet).

Pnp is the best bang for back everything installed except the reviever. BUT jets are not beginner friendly
Try trainers, try for example carbon cub s2 with multiple flight modes as auto stabilisation etc

This jet is like a rock, the harder you throw if the better it flys, slow down too much and it drops out of the sky like a lead brick. It's no where close to a starter plane. Everybody here has crawled first, and this plane is the marathon.

Looks like another "one and done" poster.

e-flite has one twin 40mm F-14。More friendly for the newbie
twin80 or twin64 are not suitable for newbie。

Hi! Yes, this kit comes almost fully assembled, but it usually requires installing some parts like the wings and tail stabilizers. Other brands offer similar models, sometimes at a lower price, but you need to consider the quality. The standard wingspan for these models is around 1.2–1.5 meters.
