can anyone id this f86? its 1100mm wing span 70mm edf...will maiden it tomorrow so maynot be all that important to find out who makes it lol

flew great on maiden,...no trim needed at all...kinda slow and was a real runway hog lol

Vee haff vays.... LOL! I've got a bit of a knack for finding things on the web. What I did to find your plane was to go to Google images and search on "F-86 RC airplane" then all I had to do was find the image that matched your plane. I found it, opened the image by clicking on it then selected "Visit The Page" option and VOILA! there was the YouTube vid of it. :)

bought a 12 blade 4s fan with almost 3 lbs of thrust...planning a major overhaul....cant stand the long grass run (about 300 ft) before it flys... bad part is all the work and cost .. id probably be better off buying the freewing 80mm f86

Isn't that a Starmax? It looks like one I have flown that actually came with an 8 blade fan....

this one is a 70mm 5 blade fan and was a hobbyking sale not sure of the brand

anyone know what the thrust is rated at on this stock motor and fan? wondering if a fan replacement that has 2.87lbs of thrust is worth the work to replace

replaced the nose gear and all the cheep plywood they had holding it in also the nose steering servo 3 more flights and seems to be holding up well...still a runway hog but flys so good I haven't even built the freewing f86 yet

well sold thef86 today to make room for the freewing f86. seems I always sell the good flying planes to make room for the unknown lol....at least ill get to see it fly a lot as I sold it to a fellow club memeber
