Hello my friends. I am plannin to make a U-2 Spyplane based on the plans designed by the late Jack Lynn Bale and available at Outerzone. I want to install an EDF instead of the glow engine TurboMax which is no longer available nor desirable. I fly at a high elevation of Bogotá, Coolombia which is 2.650 meters above sea level. Not counting with a high budget, I want to ask you which EDF you recommend. The Maximum diameter would be roughly 13 centimeters. Thank you very much for your help. EDUARDO

Welcome to Hobby Squawk, Sir, glad to have you onboard.
If you have 297 cm of wingspan and 130 mm of maximum space, I would be looking at 120mm EDFs.
You are building a size of model that is above my pay grade, but a 105mm or a 120mm which would be more than sufficient I would think.
I would consider 8S as the battery size.
Best regards, LB
