  • Skynetic Neptune 64mm EDF Wing

I was lucky enough to find this EDF Wing lightly Use and Yellow d! I'm not a big Jet flyer; however, I could not resist finding one of these EDFs. I know they originally equip it with a 30A ESC and Later went to a 40A-UBEC.
Now I assume this was the original ESC, and understand these W/R/B and a Yellow can be used in other applications. However, I don't believe there's much use for Reversed Thrust on the Neptune. Or is the yellow wire for Programming or Telemetry? I have yet to fine even a product photo used showing the 4 wires from the Admiral ESC. MRC only links a Hobby Wing ESC to the Neptune Wing under "Support" tab.

Many ESCs today pretty much come standard with reverse capability and any particular one can be used in many models directly from the manufacturer. It's up to the end user to decide whether or note it's needed for a specific model. Reverse is primarily meant to reduce stopping distance after landing. A neptune, being a hand launcher is never going to land on wheels and roll, so leave it unplugged. No, that yellow wire is not for programming.

XVIPER, thought so, thanks for the quick reply. It's a nice upgrade just the same.
