I'm waiting for Motion to get the fuselage and wing back in stock. I did something dumb in a high-drag low-power situation and spun mine in on a down-wind turn. Completely my fault. So I'm waiting for the fuselage and wing to come back into stock so I can put her back together. She is one of my favorite planes! Even on a lackluster 25c 6S 4000 Zippy Compact I found she had plenty of power for flying like a bomber should.

But...I mean...that inrunner sure sounds like a nice upgrade.

Can the inrunner be used with the stock fan, housing and ESC?

Odd that they got all the other parts back in stock (fuse, canopy, etc.), but no wings. My canopy arrives today.

It's a drop in unit... The whole fan/motor from Freewing. It's a GREAT upgrade for the money and is a direct fit! You can often get them used on RCG for about $60-$70 shipped in the classifieds.

MUCH better than the stock outrunner, especially on a draggy plane like the A6.

          Pat, Alpha10,

Thanks for clarifying the 5000 situation. Something more for me to think about.

            Hey guys, happy hump day!

            Support needed! lol

So I recently purchased this beauty and want to use it with my 4500's. Have yet to fly it, still getting it set.

Anyway, I removed the back plate to allow for the ZippyCompact 6S 4500mah Lipo to sit correctly and further back to try and get the CG correct.

Problem im having is that the plane wont stay balanced for the life of me. Im following the CG specified in the manual and can get it to hold the balance on my Great Planes CG Machine, but only for a few seconds before it randomly falls forward or backward.

Do you guys think I should trust the balance it holds for a few seconds before it falls forward or back? It just wont stay in balance like my other planes so im not sure if its just the design of the plane thats not letting it stay put.

Hello PA and welcome to the Squawk,
Are you balancing upright or inverted?? Nominally this bird wants to be done upright because the weight mass is primarily located below the wing chord whilst being a mid/shoulder wing mount.

                Thank You!

I'm balancing upside down. I balanced the CG in my garage today and got it to hold longer but eventually it falls forward or backward at random. I posted on RCGroups.com and they think I'm fine.

                Pic with CG is below.
