Stinger 90 canopy mod

I couldn't stand the goofy speed racer pilot in the stock canopy. In fact, I think the whole canopy layout dose not do any justice to this airplane. So here's the plan....strip off the original plastic canopy, remove the pilot, Use the T45 canopy plastic, and black out the underside of the glass. I'm trying to stay sort of in the Theme of the stinger 64. I use Ronson lighter fluid to soften the glue, and alow me to remove the plastic without harming the foam. heres what I have so far. Note the Alligator texture on the inside from being in the sun for only 20 minutes.

yes, I checked that one out. It's 20.00 plus shipping, but the T45 canopy was only 4.99. Besides, I really want to black out the canopy, and not have a pilot. But thanks for the tip. It does look like a nice kit.
