The T-45 manual recommends that a Y-harness be used on the slats and and flaps. However, I have attempted to configure the plane as such but when I use the y-connector I get no movement on either of the surfaces. (When plugged in different channels separately the surface work fine and I tested the Y-connector on another set up to verify that the connector works.) I'm using a Spektrum DX18 and a 9 channel receiver. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Using a Y-connector should be this difficult and I checked the polarity of the "Y" and made sure that wasn't the issue. Thanks in advance for the help.

Yeah I don't think its the radio configuration. I know motion recommends that the flaps and the slats by Y'ed together but the I think the servo for the flaps and the worm gear for the slats just will not work together on a Y connector for an unknown reason. However, with the assistance of a friend I was able to figure out a mix within the radio to get them both to work on the same switch. Thanks for the response!

I "Y'd" the Leading Edge Slats to the Landing Gear. I needed to put a servo reverser on it. For me, when the gear is down, the slats are down. I can't get it to work with my flaps because it's a 3 position switch. The slats would come down for takeoff flaps, but then would go up for landing flaps. Connecting them to the gear was my simple solution.
