My Dynam Waco. I have over 200 flights on this bird and is one of the most toughest, most durable planes in my fleet. In my quest for speed, and better handling. I made the following mods. Power system upgraded to a Dynam 50amp ESC. 13x8 prop. Came with a 40amp ESC and 12x6 prop out of the box. No motor change was needed as the stock motor handles it no problem. This 50amp ESC and motor set up actually comes factory on other Dynam birds. Much improved speed and aerobatics. With the longer prop comes taller tires for clearance. I had an extra set of 3" P51 Mustang wheels laying around. Did away with the wheel pans for clearance, and did away with the foam glued to the landing gear its self. This actually increased performance in the air as well. Less drag. As for the canopy popping loose problem they all have, I shaved the foam on the under of canopy side just enough so the magnet contact points are closer, and simply glued in a pop cycle stick at the rear of canopy for a tongue. This cured my popping loose problem. Added a WWI paint scheme and machine guns on the cowl. The paint I used is High Temp engine enamel from the hard wear store. Dosent eat the foam and offers a super high gloss finish. I hear this statement at the field every time I go. THATS A FOAMY? WOW! HAPPY FLYING.

Re: Dynam Waco Mods
Hey FB,
Nice rendition. When/If MotionRC gets the Dynam in, I may "copy" your German motif. Where did you get the German decals? Callie???? Good idea with the popsicle stick "lug/tab"....I've done that to several models that have never failed. Thanks for the pics/post.....

Re: Dynam Waco Mods
Yorkiepap, I got the decals from MOTION RC! There from the 1450mm FMS BF 109 war bird. Just click on spare parts and the decal sheet is there. Added in a couple more pics of a broader view of the paint scheme of the bipe for ya to.
