I've been wanting an RC OV-10 for years, but the only ARF I recall is the old (and ugly) Nitroplanes version. I'm in for a Flightline... IF it's the long wing version, the short wings just look awkward to me.

Somebody will need to make a high quality canopy too, because I'll be FPV'ing mine :)

I'll help you if you want. it's how our TIA gang communicates and organizes events.
Ahhhh TI, You'll understand when CB pulls out his cell phone that still uses vacuum tubesLOLLOL. YouTube at least should be used. Lot's of great stuff there. FB can be a "time sponge" if you aren't careful.

10 years waiting..........jump to the front of the bus with me and Boots and welcome to the Squawk MadMonkey.
I would not expect a "short wing" version of it because the 30 ft span was a trial of the original concept requested by the military to be able to operate from 20' wide roads.
The short span compromised its performance with all the other add on requirements such as the extra 1,000 lb for the rough field landing gear and another 1,000 lb of electronics.
That 30' short span requirement was ignored and service production was made at the 40' span.
This airframe is a first class RC optics platform.;)

Hey there MadMonkey I agree the Nitro was not a very accurate looking Bronco and the Uravich design kitted by Hobby Hanger has the wrong canopy shape, both are stand off-way off scale but are great flyers. I’m sure that with the help from Motion, Flightline can produce a masterpiece!:)

That's why I have mine setup where I only follow the aviation groups and companies, I don't see anyone's posts if they're not in one of my groups.

If you guys are on FB check out our Tirediron Aviation group.

Just found out a thread has been running parallel to this one over on RCG: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...e-OV-10-Bronco. Lots of support for an OV-10 there as well..

Ok, now that I read this entire thread you can take my money as well if this ever came to fruition.

So how did I miss this I'm thinking as I went off to investigate this link but once there it became disappointingly familiar that it was another case of the RCG BS where a handful of mouthy naysayers monopolized 2/3 of the 190 post thread with negativity and unfortunately Matt (OP/Admin) hasn't throttled them back. Didn't even bother to post my avid(almost rabid) support for a "large" Bronco because I don't need to be attacked by the keyboard commandos.
The best support for a OV-10 Bronco in foam is right here on Squawk, the forum that is the home of the company that "gets it" when knowing what the market wants in the evolving world of foam RC and is possibly the new paradigm.;)

A friend had a giant scale OV-10 (think it's crashed now) and it reignited my interest in them. Plus it would go well with this spate of Vietnam-era planes that Motion is putting out...

I can’t understand how some think the Bronco is ugly. Maybe I’m biased because it was designed and built here in cowtown, less than 20 miles from where I grew up. A purpose built close support aircraft that performed it task admirably. I think it’s a mean machine.

Another amazing airshow with our friends at the Dittingen Flugtage. Beside my main filmings with the Patrouille Suisse and the Super Constellation for the forthcoming…

Thanx RM...........seen that some time ago. Monster airframe but another atypical case in this large scale size of where the power was marginal and the props were 2 bladed and severely undersized.

I remember seeing an OV-10 on the ramp occasionally when I was driving the flightline delivering equipment to aircraft during my A.F. career. It looked like it would be a good candidate for R/C I would be putting some bucks up for one if MRC brings one to market!
