I have the kit with out the sound. The instructions show where the CG is . Do you have to add the weight of the sound and extra battery to get it correct? Anyone know of a video showing setting the CG of this wonderful bird? How did you set your CG? Would like to fly before my amputation surgery on Thursday Dec 18. Help!

Hey VA I'm not sure but doesn't the kit have you place the battery and speaker one front , one rear . I feel but don't hold me to this , if this came with this set up the CG has been taking into consideration .
If I were building this kit that's how I would start . To me the weight should offset each other .i just looked at the book on MRC website and the information that comes with that kit has taken the extras in consideration with the CG . You should be ok .

Thanks Bryan. I felt that the CG is the CG and I set it up as it shows but it still seems a little tail heavy. I am going to experiment some more before next flight which will be a while. Having my right foot removed Dec. 19th. Life is going to be different. Should get my new Flyzone DHC-2 Beaver in tomorrow. Hope to get it put together and weather holds so I can get a quick flight with it before I am laid up. Thanks again for the info.Originally posted by Hippie 64Hey VA I'm not sure but doesn't the kit have you place the battery and speaker one front , one rear . I have the kit with out sound and many flights logged with the Admiral 3600 battery. I fly with the end of my battery 1/4-1/2 inch from the front. Is working great for me.Originally posted by VA56champI have the kit with out the sound. The instructions show where the CG is .
