    RE: Dynam ME-109 review

    Hey G56,

That would be a must have plane! I just got back from flying mine again. The weather here finally calmed down a bit, and was pretty nice today. Chilly still, but sunny and very little wind. Something about that 109 in the air just looks awesome to me. Love the camo scheme, the white on the wing tips, the spiral on the spinner, just a fun flying plane! Very realistic looking in the air, and if you do the modification to the scoop on the side to allow in extra cooling, everything runs cool and I am getting 6 1/2 minutes flying time on my 2600mAH 4 cell batteries, with 43% charge left over. Love this plane!!

Check this out Lone, this is probably the prettiest paint job I've seen in awhile and listen to that engine!

Very Cool-did you notice that it is the exact paint scheme and number as the Dynam Me-109 I am flying now? Awesome!! Love the sound too, all those WWII birds had a fantastic sound, but none better than the Merlin V12 in the Spitfires and Mustangs!

          yes, I agree!
That DB605 sounds pretty awesome too, and when you consider the rarity of it as well!
I was watching her fly and thinking to myself, what a wonderful time we live in when we can sit back and watch this beautiful bird fly and not have to fear it.
I also watched a video that showed 20 P51s flying formation here in the states. WOW!!! Now can you imagine the sound of that!!
I always think, so that's what they heard back on England when they all came home.
Now, I'd like to see that with a bunch of B17s, but sadly, I'd doubt if there are 20 flying still.

Love those videos, the first one is on my favorites list on my Youtube account, had not seen the second one. 109's easily my all time favorite warbird, such a sleek bird.

Yeah, there's something about them that seems to transcend their history, same with the Zero, maybe its because we have enough distance between us and WWII to objectively admire them for what they are and not what they stood for at one time
There's a very cool FW190 long nose on display at the Boeing Museum of Flight on Seattle that just grabs me and makes me admire her
