It's a pseudo-scale version of the German war plane that appeared in the Indiana Jones, Raider's of the Lost Arc film.
I think it's quite unique and unexpectedly, a good flyer.

Also noticed the A1 Raider in the background. Where did you find one that size? All I can find is 800mm.
The one in your pic looks bigger than that

Greetings Capt.,
Great catch on Ol' Albert at the stick there!!!
The wind has surely given his hair a permanent image of pulling a few "G's" even while standing still!
Kind of like Chuck Yeager!
The A1 Sky-Raider is the 1600mm version that was offered from Starmax and sold via Banana Hobby, Hobbyking and various vendors.
It is Massive! There is also a camo version.
Once in a great while you see one of these around for sale still in the box.
However, the Banana Hobby wed site indicates that this are coming back in stock in "Early 2015"!!
My LHS has that new FZ Zero in now, and I was really tempted. Have you had a chance to fly yours yet? Just wondered what your thoughts were with regard to how it flies.
Like I said, I was really tempted, but kind of holding out for the FMS 1400mm T28 from MRC. Something about a T28 just really translates into a fine flying model.
Anyway, keep us up to date on how things are going with that squadron you have going!! :D
The Zero is fully preped and ready for flight. She'll be my first flight with the new TTX 850 Tactic radio.
I'm just waiting on the Oklahoma winds to quit sweeping down the plains!!!!
Sheesh!!!! It's an amazing 60' and sunny but the winds are at 16-18mph with gusts to 22mph!!!!
I think I'll wait....... Tomorrow hopes to be better. At least a bit less windy.
I hear you on the winds today! It was near 60 here today, but winds were 10mph, so I did get one flight in with my AT6 Texan. The winds up high were a good bit stronger though, and really bounced my plane around. I got in a nice landing, and decided not to risk it again. Maybe tomorrow...
I got the Flyzone Zero in a trade with a club member and was wondering about radio setup. It gives lengths in the manual for low and high rates, am I actually supposed to measure and adjust them that way? This is my first non-eflite plane, so I am used to percentages being given to me. Any help would be great. Thanks.
