  • After 20 year hiatus, now a Frequent Flier

All my hangar operated from a full version DXe TX and had no trouble binding and flying any of these. But looking for input on my current build with an Admiral 600 to 'mirror' AS3X behaviors.

You hangar is looking good, F22trainer. Did you really train in F22s?

The Admiral stabilized receiver has the same core features as your current receivers. I call the category "gyroceivers" to denote a receiver with an integrated gyro in it. Check out our YouTube channel for setup videos for the Admiral ADM600 series. Hopefully someone else here can post a link (I can't do so from my current location).

It's really just a matter of programming a switch on your radio to actuate the function set through which the switch toggles. i.e. for a three position switch on your radio: Position 1 = Gyro On, Position 2 = Gyro Off, Position 3 Recovery (Auto-Level).

If I answer that, big men in Brooks Bros suits will visit us both! Actually some kids in their tuner car pulled up beside me one day when I was in pilot uniform and asked me the same thing Click image for larger version

and I could not resist giving a similar answer, much to their amusement. I do train pilots and some are military.

I have been checking out the videos from Motion - good stuff there. I'll be powering up the model tomorrow and getting everything adjusted for a maiden flight, but that will be after a morning at the field with the 'hangar girls'. Maiden will probably be next weekend.
Thanks for the input - hope it programs as easy as the others...stay tuned!
