And of course I have liability only because of my son on my insurance. So this one is all on me.

1900 a month doesn't go very far when cs is 725 per month, I do pay my 6 month insurance premium all at once. So that doesn't hit me but once. Then you add the 250 per month for my engine loan. Other bills that round out around 300 bucks, it goes quickly

Went though everything said screw it I'm getting the plane. After bills and everything I still come out ahead after buying the plane. And the windshield can be repaired to boot. Found a place to do it for 260 tax included.

Wow, bummer, man. I'm surprised that can be repaired - pretty nasty. Do you have shops in your area that can supply and install a "salvage" windshield. Here, we have such a place and they only salvage windshields that are in very good shape. The cost of replacement with a salvage piece is a fraction of a new one. Plus, you know it's OEM instead of an aftermarket one that may be cheap but not necessary to spec.

I haven't seen one around, that would be nice if there were. I should have said replaced not repaired... as it's going to be replaced.

I found the one shop in my city through the Bargain Finder. You might look in Kijiji as well. For example, some years ago, I needed a windshield for our PT Cruiser. Even an aftermarket one was around $500.00, OEM much more. The salvaged one cost $150.00 installed and you couldn't tell the difference between it and a brand new one. You'll probably even get a military service discount.

Well, that's good to hear. And that price for the replacement sounds like a good deal. I've paid much more before.

Yeah the next place I shopped at wanted 370+. So yeah gotta go with this and hope for the best, at least it's a lifetime warranty. So if it launches on me I'll throw it back to them through their front window....
