  • E Flite Cirrus binding concern

I just received the E Flite cirrus, beautiful plane!, I have an old DX7 and when I bind to add the safe feature, it confirms it took it by activating the controls twice , but the safe feature does not seem to work, Any help would be great, Thanks Guys.

    Welcome to Hobby Squawk!

The "C" switch should toggle the modes.

Thanks for the feedback, on my DX7 which is the "C" switch? The instruction manual does not call any of these the C switch, thanks!!

The top left switch on my DX7 is the gear switch, that didn't do it, none of the switches on this radio will activate it, I did the binding process per instructions,

That's strange, does the radio have all the latest updates?

No, its a 10 year old DX7, I don't think it can be updated? maybe the problem is that I have an out dated radio?

                      That may be what's wrong.

If I remember correctly: C is spring loaded ... labeled trainer. Might be a button or a toggle.

that would be annoying for controlling a gyro...

Not sure if the old version DX7 could reassign switches.
FF gliders and rubber power since 1966, CL 1970-1990, RC since 1975.

Figured it out, Found the instructions in the manual, where they been since I over looked them, Both sticks down and facing each other, toggle which switch you want to use 5 times (off/ on as 1) worked, thanks for the help guys!!!!
