  • Main Wheel Axle diameter on Mini Apprentice

Lacking calipers, I wonder if anyone knows the axle diameter for the main gear for the Mini-Apprentice. I would like to replace the stock wheels for better performance on our field's grass.

Generally the diameter of the wheels will be standard for the wheel diameter, thus you may not be able to find the diameter you want that doesn't wobble on the axle a bit.

However you can just get brass tube that slip fits the axle and insert that in the wheel hub as a bearing. This can make the wheel spin more freely also.

If you come up with a wheel that has too small of an axle hole, just drill it out.

So don't worry to much about finding wheels with the correct diameter axle hole. You can drill or fill as needed.
