while walking out to the airplane today, this really happened, farewell flight for this PT-17, soon to be suspended in the new terminal nearing completion at KSDL.
kinda sad, but was cool watching her take a few laps around the pattern, wing wag on a touch and go, and get the firehouse goodbye.

Yeah, I'd much rather see them flying, instead of hanging up somewhere on static display.
