Me too! I saw the announcement that Dynam was back in stock and I flew to the Tiger Moth page......alas, it was NOT. Looks like a great biplane to add to my already oversized fleet.

I have a balsa/ply T.M. that is the same scale. I'm going to replace the engine cowel, cabane struts, cockpit and h. stab struts with the more scale Dynam parts. They should be interchangeable. I can hardly wait to get my foamie T.M. as well!! The Doctor

It is on the way. Unfortunately, container delivery is running 6 to 11 weeks due to the mess at the west coast ports. The Tiger Moth is on the water and anywhere from 5 weeks to 9 weeks away depending on what happens with the west coast port mess.

You know, those dock workers need to get their act together. They don't realize that there are a lot of sick people out here that are having serious withdrawals because of them! I call it OOS Syndrome........out of stock!

Sick? How about completely deranged? If I were to count all my planes, Micros to large scale, I'm sure I have close to 50. My worst fear is that I'll die and my wife will sell my planes for what I told her they cost! The Doctor

WOW, I thought I was getting bad.  I ONLY have 15 (that are built) and 4 still in the boxes or in-progress.  Unfortunately, my wife KNOWS what they cost.....she see's the credit card bills......

I received the DYNAM TIGER MOTH almost a month ago. First thing I found was the Building instructions are a joke. no detail, just pictures. Found a video that was a great help. Other than that it goes together great, parts fit nice. when it is finished, it will be great to fly.

Thankfully, after putting so many of these PNP, ARF planes together, the worthless instruction are not needed. I could almost put one together blindfolded. 1, 2, or 3 hours to assemble? I think not! I take 10 to 20 hours to put an ARF together. You can't just throw these planes together and expect them to fly correctly. However, sadly, that doesn't help the newbee's. It takes a LOT of patience and a lot of time figuring all the angles. I enjoy the challenge! RC is about 80% building, modifying, and repairing. The rest is flying. Have fun! The Doctor

Doctor, you hit it right on the head. 1-3 hours assembly is totally incorrect. I spend DAYS putting my planes together. You're right, after a while those instructions, or lack thereof, are useless. I personally love the assembly and personal touches. The newer guys and gals have to work through it and learn as you go. There is a ton of info out there on building tips and such.  Have fun, be patient, take your time, and you will be rewarded with a great plane that flies right.
Back to the Tiger Moth, when I'm able to get one, I think I'll get the airbrush out and paint her in a camo scheme. I saw one You Tube that looked great.

You guys are right. Many of these instructions need help. We've rewritten a number of them but the sheer volume which needs to be rewritten is overwhelming. We started a knowledgebase which we are going to populate over time with videos and instructions to help people get past the difficult parts of the build. Of course we will make build videos for as many planes as possible too.

On word of advice. Before you do a detail or repaint, fly the plane a few times. I've seen a few horror stores where planes have gone down due to a defect after days were spent on repaints. Work the bugs out before you put a lot of time into a new paint scheme.

You are probably correct about flying first, but being cooped up this snowy winter, I had plenty of time to ponder flying and paint. Hopefully the new Zero will behave and be in one piece after it's maiden this spring. Crossing my fingers!

I've had my dynam moth for a while now and love it. Got a special place in my heart for biplanes. They fly great and really visible in low light good for orientation. Be sure to glue or locktite bolts on rigging they will work loose.
