Yeah, I'm anxious to get rid of the snow and get to the field!!!

The retracts are smooth and I haven't had any issues after recycling them multiple times.
If I had to play devil's advocate on the retracts, I would have to say that when the gear are up, there is more play than I would prefer.
The retracts don't sit tightly in there wells and I'll be curious to see if they flap around in the air as some have reported.

There are some videos on Youtube that show how to get rid of the slop in the gears. Just search Dynam F6F reviews and you will find it. I have not messed with mine yet, I thought I would fly it first and see if they made a lot of noise. They do seem to work fine just cycling them here at home. Like you, I am waiting for some good weather here before I maiden it!

Indeed, I'm going to wait until I can get it in the air and then determine if something needs to be addressed.

It may be a while for me as even though the snowfall has ended, the low temps are holding off any appreciable melt.

To pass some time, I did begin the build of the Avios Sea Fury, HK's new high end line release and I am very impressed with some of the direction thay have gone!

First off, all of the servo's and lights are pre-wired into a single circuit card making final connection to the receiver a simple matter of jumpers. Also, which I rerally like, the split-flaps are Molded Plastic!! NOT foam!! And are mounted with very solid "dood Hinge" assemblies. The grear are all very robust metal trunyon as well!! Additionally, the rockets (6) that you insert under the wing are Molded Plastic as well and not foam!!

Anyway, it's still a work in progress and I plan to add a seperate thread on it with some photos but, like I said, thus far I'm very impressed with the quality of the first Avios offering!!
