Many of us rely on the internet for a majority of our purchases to support this hobby. Sometimes we run across a product that looks great on paper (or the monitor in this case) and we buy said item. When we receive these items they sometimes do not work as advertised or don't work at all. I bring this thread up so that we as hobbyists can post warnings about "DUD" items that may, or will cause harm to our investments.

I will start.
Some of us need to buy AA batteries for our transmitters, the economic thing to do here is to purchase rechargeable batteries. Well I went to ebay and found a company who is selling BTY NI-MH AA batteries. The battery company claims that these batteries are 3000mAh, so I grabbed some. I plugged them into my transmitter, and literally watched them discharge (my transmitter has a volt meter). I did some research and found that although BTY claims 3000mAh, these batteries actually perform at about 300 to 350mAh. I would not use these batteries on a Wii remote. To sum this up please save yourself the money and do not buy BTY 3000mAh NI-MH AA batteries, they maybe inexpensive but they are useless for anything accept paper weights.
