Plastic over the planes in storage is a great idea and something I should do. I hang all of mine from the garage ceiling and they can get pretty dusty. Sand and salt dust in the winter and pollen in the summer. The warbirds look normal with dust and dirt on them, but the GA aircraft with their white surfaces look pretty bad.

Thank you sir. I got the idea because I was getting over spray on my planes from painting so much in the garage, before I came up with the fans to suck the air.
I did notice a lot of dust on my planes that sat for a long time too, so it is a good thing to do.

First coat, needs more wet sanding, then colors and decals

Details on wing.

Wet sanding is your friend for making the wing smooth and light and prepping for paint.

Here is my dremel tool with brass tube in it for making revits.

Wings are not done yet still more filler and sanding needed.

These are really rough looking ,and it's going to look like putting lip stick on a pig.

Was just applying Flite Metal on My Little Gal today, forgot how much 'fun' it can be!

Flight Metal, looks great on fiberglass planes, but will show imperfections on foam airplanes unless you get it really smooth before applying.

Man that's looking awesome. Got a couple of projects first but I've got to give my Carbon Z a paint job. Callie ( as always) has the graphics). I got this thing for camo schemes.
