    Welcome to the Squawk RR..............I've used 2500 to 4000 in it. Primarily the 4000 for 8-10 min mixed throttle flight times and better penetration in windy conditions.
    Funny story........2 years ago @ NEFI during a mass warbird gaggle in 15-20 winds, was the only Axis bird in the air with the FW-190 amongst a boat load of American and British fighters and was last man standing and darn near hover landed it.
    It loves the 4000 Admiral. ;)

      I defiantly will invest in some 4000 batteries ,my hellcat is in shambles due to the recommended 2200 batteries and poor set up on my part CG wise . I don’t want the same fate for the 190 the hellcat made for a pretty discouraging expensive lawn dart . . I appreciate the advice sir !!! I have quite a few Dynam warbirds that are still in great shape but the experience with the hellcat has kept them on the ground until I figure out proper battery options , I have done a lot of research and found that most guys are using larger then recommend packs .

          All of the Dynam aircraft CAN fly just fine on the recommended battery size,if you get the CG correct. (most can fly on 3S even when they call for 4S)

          Battery size is important for: providing adequate power to the motor and flight time. With the minimum C rating you can find now being 20C (unless you really try to find lower by getting a TX battery) and the average flight time on recommended battery being 6 minutes... the 20C appx 2000 mah 3S or 4S is just fine.
          More capacity means more flight time.
          More weight can help with penetrating wind and might help with CG. More weight can negatively affect aerobatics.

          But the light battery might not give correct CG when pushed as far forward as possible. In those cases, you need to add more weight to the nose and the weight might as well be useful, in the form of a bigger battery for longer flight time.

          Dynam 1200 mm P-51. Does fine on 3S 1800 mah (as shipped in the older version RF package). But needs nose weight.
          Dynam 1200 MM Spitfire (same prop, motor and ESC as the P-51) does fine n 3S 1800 mah and can balance with just that small battery. (hard to get anything bigger into this one, so that is all I ever used)
          Dynam 1270mm Tiger Moth CALLS FOR 4S 2200 mah... I commonly fly mine on 3S 2000 mah with no issues... (I sometimes stick in 4S 4000 mah too...)
          Dynam 1270 mm T-28calls for 3S 2200... and flies adequately with that, but I usually put in 4S 3300 mah.
          Dynam 1270 mm Albatross calls for 4S 2200. You aren't going to get the CG to flyable location with less weight. It will fly on 3S 2000 mah if you get the CG right. Its a bit of a pig on 3S and a handful on 4S due to adverse yaw issues.
          Dyman Me-262 can carry a 5000 mah 4S It won't fly on 3S and you won't get adequate duration on less than 3300 mah. You can't get the manual recommended CG with any battery that fits... (and that CG is wrong)

          I have heard that Dynam is changing ESCs vs when I bought all of my Dynam models... so wattmeter tests (compared to ESC ratings) are needed for going to 4S on the planes that call for 3S. I did the tests with the ESCs as equipped in mine and none of the 3S planes were even close to pushing the ESCs limits just dropping in 4S with the OEM ESC, motor and prop.
          FF gliders and rubber power since 1966, CL 1970-1990, RC since 1975.

            So moving the 2200mah battery back and adding nose weight helped you get the correct CG? Is that how I’m understanding your advice ? I’m particularly interested in the Dynam FW 190 and the Trojan which I upgraded to 4’s with the motor and ESC from the hellcat .
