I am just not comfortable with the 30 ESC in many planes. I got the new version as a gift and replaced the 30 amp ESC with a 45 Gecko. I can use a 4-cell now if I wish. The 45 Gecko and 4- cell fit easily and turn the plane into a real flying machine. Most planes today are grossly under-powered, I think.
This is my next project. The e-Flight p51 is indeed very slow. I finally finished all my Dynam models and puled all motors and ESC and upgraded them all. I used a Neo .15 with a Gecko 65 in two and a .25 in my P47D with the same Gecko ESC. I added flaps to the T28, Hurricane, and T28. These are much better flyers now. Happy flying today!
I believe it's the same as the original PZ version, 9.5 X 7.5

Thanks I happen to have a few of those. The 4 blade looks good but I'm more about the performance to a point. I don't need 100mph rockets just enough to fly comfortably don't like planes to feel like they're trying to fall out of the sky all the time. As has been previously stated in other threads if they were truly scale we couldn't fly any models anyway. By the way Bill what part of Ok do you live in? I'm in southeast Texas panhandle.
Lol Bill 20,000 is a big city it's over 50 miles to anything that size which sometimes is a good thing. I wouldn't trade my life in a small town for anything I used to work in Dallas Fort Worth area and also drove a truck cross country coast to coast hitting all the major cities and never liked any of them don't miss em at all.
