How to Remove Prop Spinner on Parkzone F4U-1A

I need advice on how to remove the spinner from my Parkzone F4U-1A. I stuck a thin screwdriver in the hole and while holding the prop still, tried turning the screwdriver but could not budge it. It is on really tight. Did I turn in the proper direction? While holding the prop still, I tried turning the screwdriver in the direction opposite prop rotation. How can I get that spinner off? I am getting ready to put a new prop on. Thank you.

Lefty loose righty tighty
Its a standard thread so hold the prop and turn the spinner counterclockwise or left, the same direction as the prop rotates.
Crank it…!

It worked. It was so tight I was afraid to brek something by turning that hard but it worked. Thank you. And now to try flying it with an APC 10 x 8.
