      • Orange County Modelers Association has a runway so smooth I have trouble telling when the wheels touched down on greasers when flying from the cockpit:)!

                              • I flew my FlyZone DeHavilland DHC-2 Beaver from this location last fall. I have a lot of float flights with this plane, but this was the first time I had installed the camera on it while float flying. It flew a bit different (just slightly squirrely) at first with both the floats and camera on board, compared to many flights with the wheels installed and the camera on board. But it is truly a great flyer!!
My water rudders needed a bit of an adjustment to the left and I should have carried just a hair more speed on the landing. Float flying is just a lot of fun.

                                • I always enjoy watching other people's flying sites, particularly these beautiful over-water areas in your videos, Lon and corsair . Especially at a time like this when some of us can't fly, it's nice to at least others do so! Some of us are living vicariously through you.

                                        • Hi Gents, While staying home for the cause, I put together a compilation of the air disasters in my video cache from the past several years, most of them mine, lol. I was initially bummed, but when you do the math, it suggests that even with the help of my crashing friends, I crash less than 2 minutes per year!! LMAO
