  • Pandora night and day

Unfortunately, I've lost sight and/or orientation of many a white foamie, in both bright sunny days and cloudy evening skies (especially the latter) so I picked the hi wing Pandora config to address the issue (and have some fun in the process) with a finishing design that would stand out in either situation.

Everything you see pictured I did with adhesive vinyl (I gave up on painting foamies a long time ago) except for the cowl and landing gear. As for the lights? I'll admit to getting a little carried away. There are a total of 262 LEDs! 258 regular LEDs and four 1watt types under the wing tips.

PS - Oh and just for the heck of it, I gave it a name. Nite Rider!

That looks great! You're right, Nite Rider is a night and day change from the Pandora. It should be easy to see from a mile away in the dark during a blizzard, now!

I somehow missed this one... That's really cool! I wouldn't have even recognized it as a Pandora honestly. A great job for sure... Curious as to why you went with a two bladed prop and how you felt it performs now?
