    Veterans Day

Because of my father, a WWII Navy Veteran who always taught us “if we see a Veteran, we thank a Veteran” every day is Veterans’ Day to my family.

TI, Thank you very much for starting this thread. I trust I am not 'hijacking' your tribute. I have always felt as though I am a product of my father's service in all the good things. He used to say to me, "It does my heart proud" and I carried that thought with me into my service. The reasons for war are myriad, the reasons for service are simple. God Bless. Best, LB
