  • My New Mini Apprentice

I had an Apprentice 15S and it went to it's demise. It taught me to fly 4 channel and it had served it's purpose. I recently purchased a Mini Apprentice. It is smaller in size and gives me all I got out of the larger one. I remember now why I liked the Apprentice so much. It is a nice slow docile flier and very forgiving. I liked the Durafly Centennial version of their T-28 so I did a similar paint scheme on my Apprentice to brighten her up just a bit. I am about to head out to the flying field now. Have a good day.

There is something to be said about a nice, relaxing flying plane. I loved my Apprentice and was sad I sold it. Bought a Timber and UMX Timber to replace it. The scheme on your mini-Apprentice looks pretty good!

Being a seasonal flyer having the Mini Apprentice helps me knock off the rust of not flying during the winter and since it's got tricycle landing gear, it reduces the retraining curve for EDF flight.
