I know it runs on a 4000 3S, but don't know about a 3000 4S.
I would think it would require some cutting in the battery compartment to allow you to fit it in and still be able to move it up and back for the CG>

   What a Beauty !!! I need it and the Tiger Moth . The Waco is so fun to fly I just hope the Albatros is the same .

I know Doc has spoken on how much he likes the Tiger Moth .  Hope my wife doesn't see this .......

Agreed, both the Albatros and Tiger Moth are sweet looking rides!!

From everything I've been able to dig up on the Albatros, it seems the over all consensus it that it really flies well but, most seem to require a bunch of extra weight in the nose.

What is it about a biplane.  I keep looking over my shoulders at every one of them, they just have an appeal of their own.  I watched the Nitroplanes video on flying the Albatross with the reinforcement kit in it.  They were having a ball with it.  True to form, it needed a lot of rudder to turn left from the prop torque, apparently the real one did to.  All in all, a great looking bird and maybe the start of WW1 scale birds of a decent size.  That would be cool

Har, that reminds me of my Waco, she'd just role over and play dead, just like that!!  Good to know I'm not the only one.  Finally got her settled in, and the gyro really helps, maybe it would be something to consider in the Albatross!?

I believe during the piolt's conversation with the tower he indicated the need for emergency clearance.

Probably had an issue that in the end caused the nose over.

Yeah, that's my guess.

OK, I think everyone and anyone who has purchased or considered purchasing the Dynam Albatros has agreed that the included dwarf pilot is someone's idea of a joke.

However, I haven't been able to escape the thought that I had seen this same pilot before.......

Today, as I had to move a few of the planes around in my classroom, I happened to glance into the cockpit area of my Freewing SB5 Dauntless and low and behold, THERE HE WAS!!!

Of course he's more proportional to the Dauntless, in any case, mystery solved!!!!
