I am working on a new PA-18 after I crashed my first one due to an electronics issue. One of the things I wanted to do with the new one was switch from the very hard and very oversize wheels to some more realistic 5 inch soft foam wheels. Does anyone know how I can remove the black caps on these wheels without breaking anything? I know that underneath these caps are some e clips that are holding the wheels on but would prefer not to break anything to get to them. If anyone could share how to remove these it would be greatly appreciated.
