After a year in the making my RV Jet finally took to the skies yesterday. It's an impressive plane! It has a RVOSD autopilot (haven't fiddled with that much yet), swings a 13 x 8 folding pusher prop, has a pan and tilt mechanism in a front clear dome that holds a GoPro for FPV and recording flights, a 3s 6400mah battery which should enable 20 minute flights at 12A, and a giant 6 foot wingspan. Two videos here... The first is my friend Jeff launching it. The laughter is from Tom who saw Jeffs face when I hit full throttle (pretty powerful) but Jeff made a perfect RV Jet toss. The second vid is the footage from the onboard GoPro inside the viewing dome on the plane. I'm pretty proud of this thing.... I worked hard on it!
