RE: Dynam GeeBee
Our Dynam container arrived at the US port and has already been moved to rail and is on the way to Motion RC. Current ETA is about 1 week (9/8 or so) for arrival BUT......that assumes no US customs intervention. When they decide they want to inspect a container, it is usually a 7 to 10 day delay.

Actually it doesn't look bad at all!

It is Modeled off of the Gee Bee Model "E". True the fuse is stretched a bit to aid with fight characteristics. Nobody is claiming that this foam model is a scale Top Gun contender. But for what it is, it is great, a sport scale foam model of the Gee Bee model "E"!!
Actually the Gee Bee Model "Y" might be a closer match.

RE: Dynam GeeBee
Hey Guys-I have the Dynam Gee Bee, and you are correct, it is the Y model, even says so on the box. It is a great flying plane too. Very stable, easy to land, and also very aerobatic. One of my more favorite planes to fly!Originally posted by RocketeerGreetings,
Yeah, I think I'd agree on the Model Y.

Greetings Loneflier,
Enjoy the moment, buddy!! :)
Actually, while the Gee Bee is recognized as a good flyer, and I certainly wouldn't mind having one, I think when the Dynam shipment finally arives I'm going to take a shot at the Albatros. It has always intrigued me.

RE: Dynam GeeBee
I too have been eyeing the Albatros. Not having seen an actual Dynam Albatros, it looks by the pictures to be the basses upon which the ParkZone Albatros was built and marketed on. Anybody know what are the differences are between the Dynam and ParkZone Albatros airframes?
I have an E-Flite Aldatros 25 and just love it. But with all its rigging it is a bit much just to sport fly. I'm hoping the Dynam Albatros would make a good sport flying bipe.
Answered my own question. They are vastly different. For one thing the PZ is a 480 sized model with a wing span of 1070mm.. Now this might explain where the small pilot comes from.

Greetings Konrad,
I know, Right??
I cannot figure what on earth they were thinking when they installed that pilot in the Albatros, stood back and said, yeah, that looks awesome!!!
That pilot would have trouble even looking scale in an 800mm plane!!
I hope he doesn't come pre-installed. If so, I'll know what step one of the assembly process will be!! :D

RE: Dynam GeeBee
Yeah, the Gee Bee's wings are too long also. It's still a cool looking 30's style racing plane. I'll probably repaint it and rename it, anyway. By the way, it's in stock and mine is on the way! I would like to finish the Albatross in the natural wood fuselage, the way some were done. Doc
