Dynam Grand Cruiser 1280mm (50") Wingspan - PNP

    Question:

Can this plane take off off of Grass...the grass is fairly short at our field but that is all we have...
    Just wondering if it could
    That was the twin engine

Yes it sure can. That's all I fly on , it does well . This is a very smooth flyer ,easy up easy down . Doesn't need flaps it comes in great . If you look back thru the hanger section you should find a post of it . If not just look for any of my flying post and once there you can look thru the list .

Keep us informed on what you do .........

GREAT on grass runway :)!!!  I really like the plane and I am a noob easy like scale flyer...Sounds just like what I need :)  It is almost snowing up here but I can guarantee I will have one assembled for the Spring  :)

So you say it just coasts in with no flaps...that's great I always wonder if I am going to stall coming in but once you know you can slow it right down then landing is my favorite part of the flight!

I think I may paint mine though but I WILL get one for sure!

      Thanks again

Well not quite yet although some has been spotted...It is going down to 7 degrees Celsius in the Days now although there will be a few nice days around 20 still, everybody is getting ready for the inevitable :)  I only get every second weekend off to fly and this time it rained all weekend so my next good window is 2 weekends away although I may try and get some weekday flying in on weekday holidays...I work shiftwork rotating days and nights....I live in Alberta Canada close to Edmonton...

            Greetings,

As you can tell for the previous posts, the GC is an excellent twin flyer.
One thing I will add is that while it is a gentle lander, is is not a dead stick (throttle off and glide in) lander.

Just keep a notch or two in play when landing and that baby will touch down with the best of them.
The GC is one of the better Dynam values.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Ok I will keep a little bit of throttle on and run it in slowly :)
Sounds good thanks for the advice!  :)

Is MRC the best place to get it? I keep looking at it, waiting for the price to drop... It's not a Warbird after all, and I think eventually, with low sales, they could discount it... :)

                    Greetings,

I would advise with high confidence that should you choose to purchase the GC you do it through MRC.

Their shipping is FREE and the greatest value to your purchase is that MRC will stand behind your purchase like no other online vendor you will ever do business with.

Plus no one (to my knowledge) provides the level of spare parts availability like MRC.

Do you see a pattern developing here?

What he said!! Motion provides the best support in the business in my opinion. You can also count on orders being fulfilled and shipped with no delays ever. Order it during the day and it ships that evening. That's called "dependable". If MRC has it, I always get it from them.
