You must have seen the big 78" video. We have yet to film the 48" Trojan. I flew the maiden and hat camera möbius filmed. Mike and I are due to film some projects this week. The T28 is at the top of my list.

I soooo want that big T-28. I need a sugar daddy. LOL!

Ryan, you're not only a better pilot than I am (impressive landing approaches over and over) BUT, you are one hell of a hat cam videographer. How the heck do you always keep it in frame like that??

Got a quick question for you.... There are lots of T-28's out on the market, big and small. You've probably flown them all I'm sure. Aside from a large plane vs a small plane, do they all have the same flying traits? It looks like it just watching videos... Just curious. :)

                      Thanks,

I've not met a Trojan I didn't like. They do share a similar character for sure. You will see a difference where wing loading is involved. Still same character though. The heavy ones are sooner to stall is all, and the light ones float.

The old parkzone t28 floats like a kite. 5to7 mph head wind on landing you can almost hover it straight down.

Two weekends ago I watched a guy fly this new Airplane. Talk about a nice job, they have made this one beautiful. The skin looks great; it fly's like a Hover craft! I think someone else mentioned that? I was pleasantly surprised to see e-flite did such a nice job, it's cleaner than FMS! That's just my opinion... With the flaps down, she sure glides in nice and slow. I'd imagine, the 5000 mah admiral pack would also give this Monster a long "flight time", as well? I was sort of jealous to not have this one! Here I am, working for the premier RC Outfit and I don't have this beautiful T-28. I'd almost buy this before a jet", it's that nice! Well, Rocketeer, keep us posted on the Maiden! I'm sure your going to love this one, especially after it's all built. Nothing I could see that I didn't like about it. Cheers!

Are we getting the 1225m T 28 mixed up with the 78 inch one?  Or does the 1225 take a 5000mah battery?

                                  Greetings,

Yes, you are mixing the two.

                                  The 1225mm T-28 is the 48" version.

Yeah, that's what I thought,  poor little plane with that kind of weight on its back!

                                    Airborne yet Bill?

                                      RE: E-Flite T-28 Arrived Today!!

E-Flite now has THREE T-28. It is tough to track them all.

                                      Here are all the alternatives:
                                      1) E-Flite 1100mm T-28 BNF http://www.motionrc.com/e-flite-t-28-trojan-bnf-basic-1100mm-43-wingspan-bnf/
This is the old Pakzone rebranded as E-Flite. It is the lightest and most "floaty". It has fixed landing gear and no flaps which makes it a 4 channel plane. This plane is perfect for anyone who wants a very relaxing flight and it is also the prefect for a beginner coming from a high wing trainer looking to get into low wing planes.
                                      2) E-Flite 1.2M T-28 BNF - http://www.motionrc.com/e-flite-t-28-trojan-with-as3x-1-2m-48-2-wingspan-bnf/
This is the brand new 6 channel T-28 which comes out of the box with retracts and flaps. Compared to the 1100mm T-28 the wing loading is higher and it has more power. While it is a fantastic plane for an intermediate pilot, it is not beginner suitable for a first low wing plane like the 1100mm T-28.
                                      3) E-Flite 2M (78") Carbon Z T-28 (comes in BNF and PNP). http://www.motionrc.com/e-flite-carbon-z-t-28-bnf-basic-1981mm-78-wingspan-bnf/
This is the HUGE 6 channel T-28 which absolutely dwarfs the other two E-Flite T-28. Excellent flier. If you have the room and are willing to spend the money, this T-28 is absolutely awesome.

                                        Greetings Tom,

                                        Thanks for the clarification........

One of our club members flew the T-28 Carbon Z 78" model at our field today and even though I was having a blast with the new 1.2M 48" "Junior", all I can say is OMG!! Both are simply awesome flyers but the big carbon Z is just something to behold!
