1700 P51D FMS Prop Angle

Had to pull the motor on mine. Does anyone know how to obtain the best prop angle for this plane?? Pic's would also be helpful

Hi Rick. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure the angle is built into the motor board that the motor x bracket is bolted to. Right angle and down thrust. I just did a motor upgrade to mine with a Leopard 5065 390kv motor and was faced with the same ?'s. Unless you are missing the motor board, I think you'd be ok with just mounting the motor back to the original board. Hope this helps.........Jack

The thrust angle is set in the firewall. You don't have to do anything other than bolt the motor in.
