Hi guys
First off, hope everyone is staying safe and healthy in these trying times
I am very new to the hobby, and just bought this plane as one of my childhood memories from the Cox 0.49 gas powered line planes and then became the very first “comercial RC planes”
well , here I am trying to learn as much as I can before I even try to put this pretty thing up in the air, I chose this very plane because it comes with integrated gyro safe receiver with 6 channels. It also comes with LED harness/ controller (woohoo)
The receiver has the ailerons, throttle, elevator and rudder channels “taken” and I am left with two more; one having to be the Flaps ( yes, they came preinstalled!) and the last channel (aux) must be for the light harness, I must think
the remote control unit is the least expensive Datum Dynam 6 Channel in their lineup so I can see the “channel 6” is the three position switch for the gyro safe mose, right?.
Can any of you shed some light as to how does the “safe” work if I am using the channel 6 in the receiver for the LED harness/controller?
Thanks in advance and Stay Safe!

Hi And thanks for the quick reply. I did so and tried the electronics and I have Both!!!, lights and flaps while the gyro works just fine!!!
another issue. Motor runs clockwise and just saw a YouTube video saying I should just reverse any two cables of the ESC , it this correct?
thanks and Stay safe!!
