I  seriously am perplexed about what will happen to all my planes in the event of my untimely demise. My kids can't care less about RC planes. The RC club is not too keen on having them...no place to store them, and difficult to sell. I think I'll tell my wife to give them to the club anyway! Any input? Doc

:D Hi W.John  just wanted to welcome you to this forum the people here are great most of us have pretty much all the time we want to spend on this great hobby and yes it's very addicting!!  First you try to be a little conservative but then the passion of a new plane sparks your interest and from there you figure what you have to do to get it. Now I'm at 10 and have decided that every year I will buy 2 planes weather I need them or not. This years picks will be the Eflite 1200 P-51 and the new 1200 T-28 I can't wait to get them.  Well enjoy this great hobby and the forum such a great resource of information.

Donate them to the members of the club...

Choose who gets what or have them draw lots.

Our club has a couple of trade days a year where people bring in RC planes and equipment they aren't using and trade, sell, or swap with other members. You might try organizing something similar with your club.

To all you pilots out there, I just talked with Motion RC and they do not expect any more FMS PITTS 1400mms biplanes. I also talked with the guys at Diamond Hobby (who is owned by FMS) and they told me that the Pitts was discontinued and will no longer be manufactured. They also told me they had a handful left in stock. Needless to say I ordered one. See link below for Diamond Hobby.

Hi Jordan,
This is my second Pitts I bought. The first one I bought two years ago, I did a custom Wisconsin Badgers paint scheme on it. Was the best plane in my hangar, until someone offered me $500 for it this last summer. Like a fool I sold it, thinking I could buy another one. Come to find no one had any in stock including Diamond Hobby. I kept checking with Motion RC and Diamond for the last 3 months, finally diamond got there last shipment on the Pitts plane, so I snatched one up. You won't find a better foam biplane out there, it is awesome. It's kinda pricey, but worth any two large foamies I have. I would recommend getting this plane ASAP before there gone forever.

I've been looking at that Pitts for a long time but it was too expensive, especially the batteries that I would also need. A big investment that I could get two, or three other planes for that money. It was just begging for a custom pair job too.

     Well doctormike I can feel the anxiety coming from your statement I'm only a young 65 soon to be 66 in a couple of days and I want to share my philosophy on that subject.  Tomorrow is promised to nobody so live today like its your last so just enjoy your planes and don't worry about it!!! :D
